So we decided that we needed a fun day and a day to just escape from everything. CJ and I decided to surprise the kids and go to the corn maze out in Altamont. The kids thought we were just going on a drive but as soon as we got there they were so excited. It was a great surprise.
We got up early that morning and took them out to breakfast. After that we told them that we were just going on a drive because I had to be at work at two. Then we stopped in at Country Flair ( a western store) in Altamont. CJ and I have never been out there so it was different scenery for all of us. We bought Alivia, Karley, and us a new shirt and Baily and Preston got a straw cowboy hat. Then we headed out to the corn maze.
When we got there the first thing we did was go into the maze. CJ and I both were thinking that it would be a little kiddie maze but boy were we in for it. The maze ended up being pretty hard at times. But thanks to the kids we made it out in about an hour. After that we decided not to try the second one.
Then the kids hopped on the four wheeler train they had there. It was a really cute ride and the kids had a blast.
Then they decided that they wanted to feed the goats. Those goats sure were hungry. But Preston and the girls loved them so much!!
Then we all hopped on the hay wagon and went for a ride down the road to pick out our pumpkins. We had so much fun that we didn't want to leave but we will go back next year for sure and it was fun for all of us. We can't wait for our next family day!

It looked and sounds like you guys had a great day. I wish we had something like that here, that would be a blast to do especially when Camron and Chris are affraid of monsters and scary looking things.
